Jen Bee is a licensed architect in the state of Pennsylvania and a LEED Accredited Professional. Jen currently serves on the Board of Directors of AIA Pittsburgh, and is an advocate of AIA Pittsburgh's mission. She has also served as guest critic and assistant instructor for Carnegie Mellon University, and has mentored students in the Budding Builder Program sponsored by the Westmoreland County Gifted Coalition and Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation.
Jen received a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and a Bachelors of Science degree in Art from James Madison University. After developing a foundation in sustainable home design at Balance Associates of Seattle Washington, Jen came to Edge Studio of Pittsburgh and provided design, construction documents, and architectural project management services for a wide variety of project types. Before embarking on her architecture career, Jen spent several years as a graphic artist. She has retained a passion for this field and often develops logos and signage designs for clients.
